This Is My Story

The BBC is launching an unprecedented search for the most amazing untold stories in Britain. These are the stories in the lives of real people that make up Britain - stories of heroism, survival, love, loss, triumph and tragedy. We will gather stories from around Britain and place them on the BBC website.The best stories will become the focus for a landmark series of 5 x 60' factual programmes on BBC ONE, each individually presented by a famous BBC face. After each programme transmits, stories are published online and uniquely are available in bookshops the following morning. At the climax of the series, one person's real life story will be selected to become the subject of a major BBC ONE drama.
