The 8 episode series goes behind the scenes as expectant mothers go through their last stage of pregnancy, filming 24 hours a day to capture those dramatic, tender and heart-warming moments. Whether a mother of four, sharing the experience with her extending family or a first time mother showing stress and nerves, the cameras document the highs and lows of giving birth like never before.

For the staff of the maternity ward these life changing events are business as usual and they are always on hand to manage emotions and offer guidance through the intense and often precarious times. From the front desk to the operating theatre, the state-of-the-art system of cameras capture the high drama, emotion and incredible heart as new lives begin and others changes forever.
